"We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God; and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ."

We've got so much, so much, so much, so much, so much, so much, so much, so much, so much, so much (CLAP)...

...to be thankful for! Does any else remember singing this song? It was always one of my favorites when I was younger and I still seem to recall it just about every year around this time. We truly have SO MUCH to be thankful for. I don't have a ton of time to spend on this post today, but I wanted to quickly list a few things that cause me to praise...leave me some love A.K.A. comments and let me know what causes you to praise!

- First of all, I know it may sound cliche, but I am forever thankful for an Almighty, Powerful God who gave His only Son as a ransom for my sin.
- I'm thankful for a church family who is Gospel minded and for this incredible season of growth, instruction, discipline and training in all our lives.
- I'm thankful for daily provisions such as food, shelter, warm clothes, a bed, a car...I am so RICH to have these things...may I never take that for granted.
- I'm thankful for legacies of faith and love that have been passed down to me from generation to generation - may those legacies continue through me.
- I'm thankful for incredible family and for friends that I call family. The older I get, the more I realized what a treasure each of these people are in my life and how the Lord has "fit" us so perfectly together.
- Wow...I'm so very thankful for the man I get to call "husband". This word "husband" has taken on a whole new meaning for me over this past year. It's truly a humbling experience to receive such love from another human being. Each day I catch glimpses of how Christ loves His church through the love that my husband has for me. I love my sweet man more by the minute and am so thankful for who he is and who he is becoming.
- I am thankful (most days!) for the opportunity of being back in school. I truly know that nursing is my calling and I can't wait to see what journey the Lord has for me through this whole experience.
-I know he falls under family, but I have to give a special shout out to my Little Man Luke. I never grow tired of being his "Aunt Mae Mae". I am amazed that the Lord would grant me the opportunity to be placed in his life. I can't wait to see how he grows and to watch him become the young man the Lord calls him to be.

I could keep on going and make come back and add to this list later when I have more time. And I promise I will do a GFJ post (good, bad, or ugly) this coming Tuesday. Sorry I missed one! Let me know what you're thankful for...have a wonderful day! :)
